November 2018 Sephora Sale – Holy Grail Makeup

Hey guys! The November Sephora sale has begun for VIB Rouge (today is the last day of the Rouge weekends using code ROUGEBONUS) and I’ve decided my first recommendation post will be about holy grail, popular, cult favorite makeup products I’ve noticed regularly sell out during VIB sales. VIB Shoppers will be able to shop November 9-12th, and VIB Rouge will be excluded from using their codes during that time. Let’s get into it! I’ve split this up amongst categories for ease. Hey guys! This is one of those situations where I really love something and I’m almost afraid to tell you because it is so good but also so expensive. And I’m the Broke Girl Blog, after all… is more mid to high end beauty products “on brand”? Probably not, but I love to be honest and transparent about what I’m loving, even if it’s an expensive face powder, because I feel like I owe that to the people who pop over here to read my blog. Hey guys! This is a bit of a surprise post I imagine for a lot of us- I certainly didn’t realize until I got my VIB Rouge email that there was a Sephora VIB sale occurring this month at all! The sale opened for VIB Rouge members last Friday and will continue offering 20% off with the code YESROUGE until September 3rd- this time, the code is single-use online, and unlimited use in-store. Sneaky Sephora on that single-use thing for online. Hello Friends! Today’s post is a Real Girl Review on the Becca Hydra Mist Set and Refresh Powder! If you saw my Summer 2018 Favorites video or my Summer Lovin’ post, then you probably already know that I am a huge fan of this powder. I am a dry, dry skinned individual with a huge issue surrounding irritated, cracking, reaction-prone skin because of it. I’ve been a bit powder-adverse because of it honestly, but in the summer I often wish I had something that didn’t make my skin so angry that I could use to set with. Hellloooo! Today I’m back with my favorites from the month of March, only about halfway through April. I debated on finishing this video and post since while these are FAVORITES, I’m also at least 2 weeks late! Life has been pretty busy. But so many of these items are new to me, or never mentioned before on this blog that I felt like it was really still worth putting this post up to share my favorites. Skincare: Recently I’ve been using a combination of this Biotherm serum and a Biotherm night cream to combat my ridiculously dry skin. I love the combo because it’s starting to breathe some light back into my sad and angry skin which is so appreciated. My night cream is no longer available, but I’d love to try this one! Sephora Spring 2018 Sale

Hey guys! The Sephora Spring sale is starting this Friday for Rouge members (next weekend for VIB’s and Beauty Insiders!) and like most people, I’ve been considering what I might like to buy in the sale! My opportunity to stock up is really downgraded by my tax bill, but I’ve still been looking and considering as I have some gift cards. Bronzer To me, bronzer is the perfect item to purchase in spring/summer. Like most people, I get into a “less makeup” mode in the spring and summer and love focusing on fresh, bronzed and simple looks. My longtime love is Nars Laguna bronzer, but I’d also love to try the liquid version sometime. Real Girl Review: Mikasa Makeup Brushes

Hey Guys! So I have to be honest- I started testing and researching to write this post in AUGUST. I know, it is now late December. Makeup brushes are a tricky thing, though. I want to use them a bunch and wash them a bunch and force a friend or family member to try one or two (sorry to my sister) for a second opinion to make sure I’m not being biased.
