The November Sephora sale has begun for VIB Rouge (today is the last day of the Rouge weekends using code ROUGEBONUS) and I’ve decided my first recommendation post will be about holy grail, popular, cult favorite makeup products I’ve noticed regularly sell out during VIB sales. VIB Shoppers will be able to shop November 9-12th, and VIB Rouge will be excluded from using their codes during that time.
Let’s get into it! I’ve split this up amongst categories for ease.
Primers, Foundations and Concealers
My favorite foundations are almost all available at Sephora, so they’re included in the widget below, as well as a few that I know friends and family love. Right now, I’m personally using the Nars Sheer Glow foundation (in “siberia”, bless me).
Powder Products – Blushes, Bronzers and Finishing Powders
I love a good blush and bronzer, and recently I’ve been liking certain finishing powders a lot as well. Have you seen my reviews on the Becca Hydra Mist powder or the Hourglass powder everyone’s been raving about? I’ve talked about my love for Nars Laguna bronzer for years and I think it’s a really universally flattering shade for fair to medium complexions, which may sound ridiculous given how fair I am but I just use a synthetic stippling brush and it gives a perfect wash of color. My long-term love for blush is Benefit Rockateur, which I have hit pan on but am going to try out a new blush in a palette…
Palettes
Palettes are where the fun lives in my mind! Some of my face favorites include the Becca x Chrissy Tiegen original palette which is no longer available at Sephora, but their more recent combo powder (which I consider to be the best tiny palette) still is and I’m hoping to add the most recent Hourglass palette to my faves because I purchased it in the first weekend of VIB Rouge access!
My favorite eye shadow palettes are neutral, because I feel like they offer the best value if you can use 99% of the shades. I got the Tartelette in Bloom from my sister as a gift and have been using it so much ever since because the mix of mattes and shimmers is ideal for my uses. I also love the original Chocolate Bar palette and I feel like you can create so many fun looks from this one palette. That gold and the shimmery burgundy? Hi, perfect winter look 🙂
Mascara and Eyeliner
Recently I’ve really been loving mascara so, so much. It’s a bit of a pickle for me because I have had refractive eye surgery and have been told to swap out my mascara monthly, but that is expensive! Enter my absolute favorite thing in the world- the Sephora Lashstash Collection. Want to try out Hourglass Caution, Smashbox Superfan, Milk Kush and more? This is the set for you! I have 3 eyeliners that I love: Stila Stay All Day liquid liner, Marc Jacobs black liner (it’s like a gel and so beautiful but $$$)and Urban decay pencil liner.
Lip Products
Hands down, my #1 favorite lip product of this year has been the Becca Liptuitive lipgloss. How is something so simple so friggen great? I also love the Bite Beauty Matte Creme lip crayons, Bare Minerals lipsticks and the iconic (but $$$) YSL Rouge Volupte Shine lipsticks.
