Hey guys! This is a bit of a surprise post I imagine for a lot of us- I certainly didn’t realize until I got my VIB Rouge email that there was a Sephora VIB sale occurring this month at all!
The sale opened for VIB Rouge members last Friday and will continue offering 20% off with the code YESROUGE until September 3rd- this time, the code is single-use online, and unlimited use in-store. Sneaky Sephora on that single-use thing for online.
VIB Insiders can start enjoying their 15% off on August 30th using the code YESVIB, and Beauty Insiders will receive 10% off if they use the code YESINSIDER.
Since this is generally the most generous discounts available for the year, I like to consider this sale as my “stock up” sale, because I’ll buy things that I will need to buy anyhow- skin products, my everyday foundation, powder, mascara. Anything new and fun that I want to try, I’ll generally put towards the April sale unless I’m somehow flush with cash. I’ll also use this sale to purchase Christmas gifts, but since it’s earlier this year none of the holiday offerings are out yet. I wonder if that’s part of the reason for changing the timing of the sale?

Skincare:
I have dry skin, and it’s very sensitive, especially to new products. Most of these suggestions you’ve seen before in previous favorites and recommendations posts, but:
Makeup:
I like to split this into base, and then everything else. I have SO many favorites for my base with how dry and sensitive my skin is:
Now, for the fun stuff. Highlighters, eye shadows, palettes, etc!
Haircare:
I am a pretty simple girl on hair care (I usually use salon brand shampoo and conditioner and then drug store for my argan oil), but I can’t live without the Bumble and Bumble Pret a Powder. I really want to try the aerosol version as well.
Sets/Gifts:
I think one of the smartest things you could buy in this sale is the Lash Stash to Go set. You get five deluxe samples and a coupon to choose your favorite and get the full size.
If you’re a glow-seeker, I’d recommend the Becca Born to Glow Set. Alternatively, the Becca x Chrissy Teigen pallettes are some of my favorite things, ever. The new Endless Bronze and Glow is gorgeous and compact.
