Real Girl Review: Mikasa Makeup Brushes

Hey Guys! So I have to be honest- I started testing and researching to write this post in AUGUST. I know, it is now late December. Makeup brushes are a tricky thing, though. I want to use them a bunch and wash them a bunch and force a friend or family member to try one or two (sorry to my sister) for a second opinion to make sure I’m not being biased. So, if I’m going to talk about a makeup brush, I’m going to spend the time to thoroughly check them out. To be transparent, Mikasa Beauty reached out to me in August to offer me a discount and some free product, because they thought I might like their brand. Sephora Sale 2017- Beauty

Hi guys! Are you as excited as I am for the Sephora Sale?! I thought I’d start out with my favorite category of all… MAKEUP! Most people know that I love makeup, despite being known to roll around with a bare face pretty often (I just did a no-makeup October!). The Sephora sale is a great opportunity to stock up on regularly used items to have some product backups, or try that new item you’ve been coveting. Summer Favorites 2017

Hi Guys! I know, it has been a while since I last posted! Real Girl Review- Essie Gel Couture

Hey guys! Back with another real girl review, this one being the next in my series about gel manicure alternatives! If you haven’t seen my review of Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel, you might want to check it out! Using the costing from my last post, a once-monthly salon gel manicure would cost you around $420/yr. This product costs $11.96 for the color and $11.96 for the topcoat, so assuming a new shade every month and 2 bottles of top coat, you’re looking at approximately $170 before tax. This product is great. My sister has even tested the top coat with non-matched (not the Essie Gel Couture) colors and it still keeps your nails looking flawless for at least a week, if not longer. Real Girl Review: L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

Today is something super cool for me, as I was involved in a campaign through my digital influencer agency and got the chance to provide an unbiased review about the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara that recently launched! Sephora Spring Sale!

I got exciting mail yesterday… information about the spring Sephora sale! I’m not sure about you guys, but oftentimes in the spring I’m looking for long-wearing foundation, bronzer, products for beachy waves and glossy lips. You know… the opposite of what I’m looking for in the winter! I tend to purchase good products because if I find something works well, I will use it until I’m scraping out the bottle with a q-tip. To me, that’s better than purchasing three similar products and using half- so whether it’s a luxury brand or my favorite drug store item, if I like it and it’s on sale… I’ll probably buy it to stock up. I know I know… This is so late! I have such immense respect for videographers, editors, producers, and Youtubers because editing something takes so long for me.
