Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations – Fall 2018

Hey guys! This is a bit of a surprise post I imagine for a lot of us- I certainly didn’t realize until I got my VIB Rouge email that there was a Sephora VIB sale occurring this month at all! The sale opened for VIB Rouge members last Friday and will continue offering 20% off with the code YESROUGE until September 3rd- this time, the code is single-use online, and unlimited use in-store. Sneaky Sephora on that single-use thing for online. VIB Insiders can start enjoying their 15% off on August 30th using the code YESVIB, and Beauty Insiders will receive 10% off if they use the code YESINSIDER. Since this is generally the most generous discounts available for the year, I like to consider this sale as my “stock up” sale, because I’ll buy things that I will need to buy anyhow- skin products, my everyday foundation, powder, mascara. Spring 2018 Clothing Haul – Nothing Over $50!

I’m so, so, so excited about today’s post because it’s a collective clothing haul and absolutely nothing is over $50. I recorded a video where I try on each item and talk about it because I wanted you guys to have a chance to see how these items look on a very “average” body, not just the models online! Some of these pieces may no longer be online or available since this was a collective haul that was ongoing for about 2 months, but I’ve done my best to link similar items in similar price points so that you can achieve the same looks for a great price. My tips are definitely to shop the Walmart clearance section, Walmart in general (they have some pretty cute stuff, don’t doubt me!), Costco’s clothing section, Old Navy sales (and clearance) and Joe Fresh! Sephora Spring Sale!

I got exciting mail yesterday… information about the spring Sephora sale! I’m not sure about you guys, but oftentimes in the spring I’m looking for long-wearing foundation, bronzer, products for beachy waves and glossy lips. You know… the opposite of what I’m looking for in the winter! I tend to purchase good products because if I find something works well, I will use it until I’m scraping out the bottle with a q-tip. To me, that’s better than purchasing three similar products and using half- so whether it’s a luxury brand or my favorite drug store item, if I like it and it’s on sale… I’ll probably buy it to stock up. Sephora Sale – Beauty Picks

Hey all! Finally, possibly my favorite part of the Sephora VIB Sale! Anyone who knows me knows that I loooove makeup. I dialed it back a ton for my old job to a more simple, chic and natural look but I love a smoky eye, experimenting with different shades of bright or dark lipsticks, contouring, highlighting etc etc… I love it all. It was so hard to choose just five items for each category, so I stuck with my everyday favorites for the ones I am recommending. These items are either something I use every day, use so much I buy 2 or more per year (which is why I’d buy two during the VIB sale) or both.
