Rose Review – Sterling Vintners

Hello! New Year New You is now upon us, and what better time to do some “research” in the form of testing out a new rosè, right? I thought my rose reviews would end at the end of my series, but you can’t keep me away. Sterling is a Californian winery that makes one of my most-loved cabernet sauvignon bottles, so when I saw the mini version of the rose on offer at Wine and Beyond, I knew I had to try it. And so, when my sister and I were decorating her house for the holidays, we decided to test it out together. When you pour the wine, you’ll note that the color is a really pretty, bright pink. Hello Friends! Today’s post is a Real Girl Review on the Becca Hydra Mist Set and Refresh Powder! If you saw my Summer 2018 Favorites video or my Summer Lovin’ post, then you probably already know that I am a huge fan of this powder. I am a dry, dry skinned individual with a huge issue surrounding irritated, cracking, reaction-prone skin because of it. I’ve been a bit powder-adverse because of it honestly, but in the summer I often wish I had something that didn’t make my skin so angry that I could use to set with. Real Girl Review: OPI Infinite Shine 2

Hey guys!   Today I’m sharing my final post in my Real Girl Review roundup of gel-alternative nail polishes! This last experience is with the OPI Infinite Shine 2 polishes! They are marketed to last 11 days which seems an odd number, but they are specifically stated to be “gel-like”. My sister picked up this color and the starter set of the base and top coat at Sally Beauty supply and I’ve tried it a couple of times now. The first difference is that you need to use a base coat and a top coat, the duo pack of which will cost $19.99. Then, you’ll need a color, which will cost about $13, and there are 150+ to choose from! Keeping everything the same to my last two posts, a once-monthly salon gel manicure will cost you about $420 a year. With the $13 per color and $20 set of base…

Real Girl Review- Essie Gel Couture

Hey guys! Back with another real girl review, this one being the next in my series about gel manicure alternatives! If you haven’t seen my review of Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel, you might want to check it out! Using the costing from my last post, a once-monthly salon gel manicure would cost you around $420/yr. This product costs $11.96 for the color and $11.96 for the topcoat, so assuming a new shade every month and 2 bottles of top coat, you’re looking at approximately $170 before tax. This product is great. My sister has even tested the top coat with non-matched (not the Essie Gel Couture) colors and it still keeps your nails looking flawless for at least a week, if not longer. Save Vs. Splurge: Micellar Water

Hey Guys! It has been a little while since I posted a new blog, which is partly attributed to it being playoff season (late games are killing me!) and partly attributed to life just being… life.
