Hey guys! I’m back with another Rose Review, this time about Apothic’s rose offering. Let me start out with telling you what I enjoy in a rose- crisp flavors, a clean, fast finish and fruit balanced with mineral flavors. I like citrus far more than berry flavors, and try to stay away from anything too sweet.  With that said… this is the rose I’ve enjoyed the least thus far while doing this series, but for the reasons that may make it an absolute winner to other people! Hey-o!!! It’s another Rose Review! This time I’m talking about the Adorada Rose which is a California product (I know, my fellow Canadians… I assure you, this was purchased before the tarriffs were announced and I started thinking more harshly about my own purchasing habits, but I can’t say I’d never buy it again… spoiler alert: this wine is amazing). Hey guys! For the first post of my long-promised rose review series I’m reviewing the Big House the Siren rose that comes in a 2-serving (250ml) can! This is a Californian rose dubbed as medium sweetness and easy drinking. This type of dessert is so perfect for a Sunday dinner because it comes together quite quickly and can be made with fruit from your freezer. Enter this healthy Mexican-inspired quinoa bowl. It’s loaded with healthy fibre, fats, and protein, so you can feel good about stuffing your face with this one! Hey guys! Recently I came down with a sinus infection and got thrown on a hefty dose of penicillin. I know, this seems to have nothing useful to add to a recipe about sugar-free yogurt parfaits but here’s the link- antibiotics can do a number on your tummy health. Greek yogurt (or any yogurt with healthy bacteria) can aid in rebalancing the healthy bacteria levels in your stomach. Also, I personally have a hard time dealing with too much refined sugar in my diet, so having natural sugars as opposed to a sugared yogurt parfait from a store is very, very important to me (even though there are SO many delicious store bought options out there).
