Hey guys!

As I usually do, I wanted to provide some recommendations for this year’s November Sephora Sale! I wanted to do one big post rather than multiple ones by category, just to make it easier for you guys, like a one-stop-shop.

Makeup

Hourglass Hylauronic Skin Tint is my FAVORITE skin base right now, it has really good medium/buildable coverage, which I love to thin out and make more sheer with an illuminator for an easy everyday look.

Lashstash is my favorite kit style product from Sephora. It’s a bunch of mascaras in a box, in minis! It’s a fun way to try out a bunch of different mascaras and not feel so guilty about throwing out a full-sized mascara 4-6 weeks in (as you truly should). It’s good value!

Hourglass Ghost Palette – If I had $100 to throw around, this is what I’d buy! I have a previous version of the palette, and I use it pretty much every time I do my makeup. The powders last a long time, look natural, and it’s a great way to get a bronzer, highlighter and blush from the brand without shelling out for the individual products.

Josie Maran Illuminator is a great option to mix with your Hourglass Hylauronic Skin tint, or your moisturizer for an easy luminous look.

Nars radiant creamy concealer has been my favorite for years, it’s got good coverage and doesn’t crease on my dry skin under my eyes.

Skincare

Biotherm’s Life Plankton line is a favorite of mine, I really recommend the essence and mask if you’re a dry-skinned gal. The mask also is great on wind-chapped skin.

Fresh Soy Face wash is super gentle, doesn’t strip the skin, and I love to keep it in my gym bag to scrub up after a swim without drying my face out. My other favorite is the Purity facewash by Philosophy.

Ole Henricksen C-Rush gel cream moisturizer is my favorite for under a face of makeup. I find my makeup never pills, and my skin is moisturized enough to not peel by afternoon.

Fresh Rose Toner is a new favorite of mine! I love how moisturized and supple it makes my skin, and it makes me want to try out a lot more from the rose line that Fresh has.

Bite Lip Scrub is a must for anyone who lives in Alberta in the winter and knows what it’s like to have ridiculously dry lips that need an exfoliant.

Haircare

Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo is my absolute favorite. I like the powder version, but I especially like the canister version. If you’re like me and struggle with a sensitive scalp, I recommend trying it.

Living Proof Perfect Hair day inshower styler is great for the summer when you want your hair to air dry, holidays, or easy weekend hair.

Drybar brushes are a great investment if you like to blow out your hair, and my recommendation is the round brush for volume.

Amika’s hair serum is lightweight but nourishing, but doesn’t weigh your hair down like so many others can. If you’re looking for a treat, try this.

I have a few hair masks I love, but Briogio Don’t Despair, Repair, Olaplex #3 and the Ouai individual masks are my favorites. Obviously my hair has been a thing for me the past year, so I’ve been trying to keep what’s left and what’s growing out in great shape in between visits to my stylist.

GHD straighteners are a great purchase, because they’re pricy and I don’t see them go on sale very often. I especially appreciate the design of them- they can be used to wave, curl and straighten really easily which is nice if you don’t love having tons of hair tools.
