I wanted to bring something a little bit different this year, something a little more true to me and my stage in life, and that’s Valentines Day ideas for my single friends. I have been single since the end of my engagement a couple of years ago and most of the time, it really hasn’t bothered me. Sometimes, though, it can be a bit tough when everyone else is planning something fun with their significant others and you’re just… going to Costco with your mom on a Saturday night (true story of last Saturday… I say it as a joke but we had fun).
If you’re like me, and you know what it feels like to be a bit lonely, you’re probably pretty committed to making sure none of your friends are feeling the same! I love to plan a gal-entines meal or fun evening with my sister or a friend (or just the whole family… because what’s love if not family?). It’s always fun to give an inexpensive gift to a friend when you’re spending the day with them (or just cheering them up!).
I feel it’s important to stick to your budget when addressing gifting items, so almost everything on this list is $25 and under, except for a couple of items which are around the $50 mark for if you’re really going all out or treating a family member.
